(1 March 2022 – Hong Kong) CIMC Enric Holdings Limited (“CIMC Enric” or “the Company”) together with its subsidiaries (the "Group") (Stock Code: 3899.HK) today announced that the integrated business division of CIMC Hydrogen Energy Technology Limited (“CIMC Hydrogen”), a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, has won the "Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Refueling Mother Station Project" from Shanxi Pengfei Group Co., Ltd. (“Pengfei Group”), valued at RMB13.18 million.
Pengfei Group, one of the "Top 500 Enterprises of China", has multi-industry capabilities covering coal, methanol, LNG, synthetic ammonia and hydrogen. Its various integrated hydrogen projects include the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Industrial Park (“Pengwan Industrial Park”) which offers low-cost hydrogen production from coke oven gas and a geographical advantage of being close to the Xiaoyi Coal Chemical Industrial Park which has large gas volume, with a total investment of RMB 20 billion. Pengwan Industrial Park is a hundred-billion-level hydrogen industry chain project that includes hydrogen production, storage, distribution, usage, fuel cells, hydrogen refueling stations and hydrogen vehicles. It is destined to be an influential hydrogen industry demonstration base in Shanxi Province and for the whole country. The winning bid was for the project’s hydrogen refueling station which will have a total capacity of 14,000 Nm3/d (5,000 Nm3/d for Phase I).
