CIMC Hydrogen Delivers Fully-Integrated H2 Refueling Station Equipment to be Used for Beijing Olympic Winter Games

(4 January 2021 – Hong Kong) – CIMC Enric Holdings Limited (“CIMC Enric” or “the Company”) together with its subsidiaries (the "Group") (Stock Code: 3899.HK) is pleased to announce that a set of 70 MPa Fully-Integrated Skid-mounted Hydrogen Refueling Station Equipment" ( "Project" or "Demonstration Project") undertaken by CIMC Hydrogen Energy Technology Ltd. (“CIMC Hydrogen”, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric) has been successfully delivered to CHN Energy New Energy Co. Limited (“CHN Energy New Energy”). The equipment will be installed for Wanquan Oil, Hydrogen and Electricity Integrated Energy Station in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, which is a “Large-scale Hydrogen Production Key Technology Research and Demonstration Project”. The H2 station will refuel green hydrogen for hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

This delivered project achieved major technology breakthroughs and being the first in terms of following areas : the first multifunctional and fully-integrated hydrogen refueling device integrating gas discharge, pressurization, controlling systems, AI intelligent monitoring, and other functions; the first integrated, efficient and convenient hydrogen refueling device that meets 70Mpa filling system of T40 level in SAE J2601 filling protocol and is equipped with infrared data communication function; the first multiple gas sources and skid-mounted hydrogen refueling device capable of simultaneously supplying hydrogen to 20Mpa and 30Mpa trailers; the first completely explosion-proof, skid-mounted hydrogen refueling device; the first integrated skid-mounted explosion-proof water cooling system; the first integrated skid-mounted safety system; and the first skid-mounted device with integrated large-screen displayer.

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games has announced an in-depth sustainability and carbon neutrality plan. The committee has also promised that all carbon emissions from the Games will be fully neutralized. At present, venues for the Games are now fully deployed green energy, while actively developing and utilizing renewable energy. In addition, the use of large-scale hydrogen fuel cell buses and hydrogen torches at the Winter Olympic Games fully reflects China's efforts to develop and expand hydrogen applications.
