Two newly-built vessels delivered this year

("CIMC SOE"), a subsidiary of the Company, successfully delivered the first 7,200m³ LEG carrier (S1063), named "GASCHEM FUJI," which was independently designed and constructed for Germany's Hartmann Group. The vessel was officially handed over and smoothly departed for its operational duties.

This series of vessels comprises a total of three carriers, with the first, S1063, delivered this time. The remaining two carriers will also be delivered in 2024. S1063 has a total length of approximately 116 meters, a beam of 18 meters, and a depth of 12.3 meters. Compared to traditional small-sized LEG carriers, this series adopts advanced MAN dual-fuel engines, which not only meet the latest emission requirements, but also significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions during transportation.

The newly signed orders for offshore clean energy saw a significant YoY increase of 11 times, and the backlog orders amounted to RMB12.35 billion as of the end of March, nearly doubling YoY. Additionally, in the first quarter of 2024, the Company successfully delivered an 8,200m³ LNG bunkering vessel, injecting new impetus into the green development of the global shipping industry.

In the future, CIMC Enric will continue to uphold the concept of green development, further innovate and develop more environmentally friendly ship products, and work hand in hand with global partners to promote the sustainable development of the shipping industry.
